The relationship between social capital and innovation in small business of Convergence Federation

Abstract

This paper reviewed the relationship between social capital(interaction, trust, shared vision) andinnovation(product innovation, process innovation), and the moderating effect of CEO’s entrepreneurship in smallbusinesses of Convergence Federation. Based on the responses from 252 responses, the results of multipleregression analysis showed that interaction and shared vision effect positively on product innovation andprocess innovation, but trust effects positively only on process innovation. The results of moderating analysisshowed that entrepreneurship effects positively on the relationship between trust and product innovation, andthe relationship between shared vision and process innovation.
