Instruction For Authors

1. Submission

To submit a paper to Journal of the Korea Safety management and science, please send an E-mail or fax(E-mail: safety@mju.ac.kr, Fax:+82.31.336.2845). submission with a Hangul file is encouraged since it speeds up the review process. NOTE: For detailed information on the manuscript submission, please consult the Editor-in-Chief. The paper publication type is divided into Research Papers and Application Papers.

Submission of a manuscript to journal of the Korea safety management and science implies that the paper has not been published, that it is not being submitted for publication elsewhere.

Written request via letter or E-mail is required to withdraw a paper under review. The request should be sent to the corresponding Editor or Editor-in-Chief.

4. Double-blind peer Review.

Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. There are at least three or more reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue.

5. Manuscripts

Manuscripts should be written in Korean or English. Title page should include the title, the author's names and addresses. The corresponding author's address, telephone and fax numbers, and the E-mail address should be given. Acknowledgements for financial support should be given in the title page. 6. Numbering

Sections should be numbered decimally.Formula, if referred to, should be numbered in parentheses on the right.

7. Table and Figures

Tables should be numbered consecutively and have a self-explanatory title. The title of a table should be placed at the upper center of the table. Figures should be numbered consecutively and have a self-explanatory caption. The caption of a figure should be placed at the bottom center of the figure.

10. Refernces

List only those references that cited in the text. List references alphabetically by the last name of the frist author. Do not number the reference. References in the text should be cited by the author's last name and the year of publication. If a reference is not written in English, list it in English using transliteration for proper nouns and translation for common nouns. The examples is as below. [1] Jae-Chul Kim*.Jae-Chon Lee*, "On the Development of Systems Safety Requirements Using Hazard Analysis Results", Journal of Korea Safety Management and Science, vol. 13, no.4, pp.9-16, December, 2011.

11. Final Manuscript

After the paper has been accepted for publication, the authors are requested to send an e-mail of the final manuscript. At least one author is required to sign and submit the copyright transfer from to the Editorial Office before publication of the paper.

12. Fee for page charge

If the manuscript is accepted for publication, in addition to the page charge of Korean Won 200,000 to the basic of 8page, additional per page charge of Korean Won 30,000
