A Study on the Improvement Direction for Timely Technical Guidance Project

Abstract

The industrial acident rate has ben steadily decreased by making al eforts for the prevention of acidentsafter enacting Ocupational Health and Safety Act in 1981. However, ordinary typed industrial acidents stilocur in smal and medium sized enterprises(SME). Timely Technical Guidance(TTG) project of KoreaOcupational Safety & Heath Agency(KOSHA) for SME's was initated to visit and provide the analysis andcontrol of industrial acidents by the stafs of KOSHA as son as posible after acidents ocured. This studyis conducted to analyze the questionaire survey for employers, workers and TTG personel of KOSHA withbeing evaluated positvely whether the demonstration project of TTG has ben executed consistently. However,it is sugested that the understanding of TTG project and legal suport are necesary for the establishments,and the development of a variety data and lots of available contents is necesary to increase satisfaction of theTTG projec
The acident rate of SME's which are employed les than 50 workers is expected to be largely decreasedwith aplying the control and improvement over this study with maintaining and developing TTG technology.
